Business Council of Canada and Nevada Launches Nevada Operations
Henderson, Nevada – June 1, 2016 – The Business Council of Canada and Nevada (BCCN), the premiere business association dedicated to promoting bilateral trade and tourism between Nevada and Canada, announces the launch of its operations in Henderson, Nevada. The BCCN’s singular purpose is to increase bilateral business dealings between Canada and Nevada by maintaining and strategically tapping the strongest connections in every major industry.
“The Council is a deal and transaction-oriented business council,” said CEO Richard Perkins. “We are uniquely positioned to facilitate high-level introductions and networking for Canadian companies interested in establishing and expanding a presence in Nevada, and the same for Nevada companies interested in those same opportunities in Canada.”
The Council is sanctioned by both the State of Nevada and the Canadian Government. “I look forward to working with the Business Council of Canada and Nevada,” stated Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval. “I am confident our collaborative efforts will yield many more mutually beneficial opportunities.” Canadian Consul General James Villeneuve added, “The BCCN’s efforts to further ties between Canada and the Silver State will be a great compliment to the efforts of my office.”
The past decade has seen unprecedented growth in the Canada-Nevada partnership and the stage is set to continue this trajectory as both jurisdictions harness resources and further developments in a variety of cutting-edge fields. The BCCN promotes and facilitates that growth by assisting, influencing, and educating at the highest levels of corporate decision-making in the private sector and with governmental entities on both sides of the border.
